बहुरि बिलोकि बिदेह सन
Seeing Bhṛgupati's fierce dress, all the kings rose in fear and began to prostrate themselves, naming themselves and their fathers. Whoever he looked on kindly felt his end had come. Janaka came and bowed and had Sītā called to pay respects. Paraśurāma blessed her, and her friends took her away. Viśvāmitra came and placed the two brothers' feet at his lotus feet, saying they were Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa, sons of Daśaratha. Seeing the fine pair he blessed them. He gazed at Rāma, whose beauty beyond measure humbled Love's pride, and his eyes stopped in wonder. Then looking at Videha he asked, 'Say what is this great crowd?' Though he knew, he asked like one who did not, and anger spread through his body.भृगुपति का भयंकर वेश देखकर सब राजा डरकर व्याकुल उठ खड़े हुए। वे पिता सहित अपना-अपना नाम ले-लेकर दंडवत प्रणाम करने लगे। जिसे वे स्वभाव से हितैषी जानकर देखते, वह समझता कि मेरी आयु पूरी हो गई। फिर जनक ने आकर सिर नवाया और सीता को बुलाकर प्रणाम करवाया। परशुराम ने आशीर्वाद दिया; सखियाँ प्रसन्न हुईं और चतुर सखियाँ सीता को अपने समाज में ले गईं। फिर विश्वामित्र आकर मिले और दोनों भाइयों को उनके चरण-कमलों में रखा, और कहा कि ये दशरथ के पुत्र राम और लक्ष्मण हैं। सुंदर जोड़ी देखकर परशुराम ने आशीर्वाद दिया। राम को देखकर उनके नेत्र थक गए, उनका रूप अपार और कामदेव का मद हरने वाला था। फिर विदेह की ओर देखकर पूछा, 'कहो, यह बड़ी भीड़ किसलिए है?' जानते हुए भी अनजान की तरह पूछा; उनके शरीर में क्रोध व्याप गया।

जिसकी ओर वे हितैषी जानकर स्वभाव से देखते, वह समझता कि मेरी आयु पूरी हो गई। फिर जनक ने आकर सिर नवाया और सीता को बुलाकर प्रणाम करवाया।
Whoever he looked at kindly, thinking him a friend, felt that his end had come. Then Janaka came and bowed his head and had Sītā called to bow too.

३3आसिष दीन्हि सखीं हरषानीं। निज समाज लै गई सयानीं ॥बिस्वामित्रु मिले पुनि आई। पद सरोज मेले दोउ भाई ॥

He blessed her, and her friends were glad; the wise ones took her to their own group. Then Viśvāmitra came and met him, and placed the two brothers' feet at his lotus feet.

४4रामु लखनु दसरथ के ढोटा। दीन्हि असीस देखि भल जोटा ॥रामहि चितइ रहे थकि लोचन। रूप अपार मार मद मोचन ॥
