तन मन बचन मोर पनु साचा
The speech of Sītā, a bee, was held back by her lotus face, and her shame, a night, did not let it open. The water in her eyes stayed in the corners, like gold in the hand of a great miser. Seeing her great distress, she steadied herself and held to faith: 'If my vow is true in body, mind and speech, and my heart is fixed on Raghupati's lotus feet, then the Lord in every heart will make me Raghubara's servant. Whoever's love is true for another will certainly find that one, with no doubt.' Seeing the Lord and showing her love, Rāma, the treasure of mercy, knew all. He looked at Sītā and then at the bow, as Garuḍa looks at a small snake. Lakṣmaṇa saw the Lord looking at Śiva's bow, and thrilled all over, pressed the universe under his feet and spoke.सीता की वाणी रूपी भौंरी को उनके मुख-कमल ने रोक रखा था; लाज की रात देखकर वह प्रकट नहीं हुई। आँखों का जल आँख के कोनों में ही रह गया, जैसे बड़े कंजूस के हाथ में सोना। अपनी बड़ी व्याकुलता जानकर वे सकुचा गईं, धीरज धरकर हृदय में विश्वास लाईं: 'यदि मन, वचन और शरीर से मेरा प्रण सच्चा है और मेरा चित्त रघुपति के चरण-कमलों में अनुरक्त है, तो सबके हृदय में बसने वाले भगवान मुझे रघुवर की दासी बना देंगे। जिसका जिस पर सच्चा स्नेह होता है, वह उसे मिलता ही है, इसमें कुछ संदेह नहीं।' प्रभु ने सीता की ओर देखकर प्रेम जताया; कृपानिधान राम ने सब जान लिया। सीता को देखकर उन्होंने धनुष को ऐसे देखा जैसे गरुड़ छोटे साँप को देखता है। प्रभु को शिव का धनुष ताकते देखकर लक्ष्मण पुलकित शरीर हुए और पैरों से ब्रह्मांड को दबाकर बोले।
