धनुमख हित भूमि
The brothers go to the east side of the city, where the ground for the bow sacrifice has been prepared. It is very wide, with a lovely cast floor and a clean, finely decorated altar. Large golden platforms stand on all sides where the kings will sit, and behind them other tiered platforms. Somewhat higher are seats where townspeople can sit, and near them great white mansions in many colours, where the women can sit and watch, each according to her family. The city's boys speak gently and respectfully show the Lord the arrangements. On this pretext they touch the charming brothers, their bodies thrilling with joy.दोनों भाई नगर की पूर्व दिशा में गए, जहाँ धनुष-यज्ञ के लिए भूमि बनाई गई थी। वह बहुत विस्तृत थी, सुंदर पक्के फर्श वाली, और निर्मल वेदी बहुत सुंदर सँवारी गई थी। चारों ओर सोने के विशाल मंच रचे थे, जहाँ राजा लोग बैठेंगे; उनके पीछे पास में चारों ओर और भी मंच एक के बाद एक बने थे। कुछ ऊँचे, सब प्रकार से सुहावने आसन थे जहाँ नगर के लोग आकर बैठेंगे, और उनके निकट बड़े सुंदर, अनेक रंगों के श्वेत भवन बने थे, जहाँ सब स्त्रियाँ अपने कुल के अनुसार यथायोग्य बैठकर देखेंगी। नगर के बालक कोमल वचन कहकर प्रभु को आदर से रचना दिखाते थे। इसी बहाने सब बच्चे प्रेमवश उनके सुंदर शरीर को छूते और दोनों भाइयों को देख-देखकर हर्ष से पुलकित होते थे।

चारों ओर सोने के विशाल मंच रचे थे, जहाँ राजा लोग बैठेंगे। उनके पीछे, पास में चारों ओर, दूसरे मंच एक के बाद एक समाज के बैठने को बने थे।
On all four sides stood large golden platforms where the kings would sit. Behind them, nearby on all sides, were other platforms in tiers, for the gathering.

३3कछुक ऊँचि सब भाँति सुहाई। बैठहिं नगर लोग जहँ जाई ॥तिन्ह के निकट बिसाल सुहाए। धवल धाम बहुबरन बनाए ॥

कुछ ऊँचे, सब प्रकार से सुहावने आसन थे जहाँ नगर के लोग जाकर बैठेंगे। उनके निकट अनेक रंगों के बड़े, सुंदर श्वेत भवन बने थे।
Somewhat higher, pleasing in every way, were seats where the townspeople could go and sit. Near them stood great, lovely white mansions made in many colours.

४4जहँ बैंठैं देखहिं सब नारी। जथा जोगु निज कुल अनुहारी ॥पुर बालक कहि कहि मृदु बचना। सादर प्रभुहि देखावहिं रचना ॥

वहाँ बैठकर सब स्त्रियाँ अपने कुल के अनुसार यथायोग्य स्थान पर देखेंगी। नगर के बालक कोमल वचन कह-कहकर प्रभु को आदर से रचना दिखाते थे।
There all the women would sit and watch, each in a place fitting her family. The city's boys, speaking gently, respectfully showed the Lord the arrangements.

दोहा २२४दोहा 224सब सिसु एहि मिस प्रेमबस परसि मनोहर गात।तन पुलकहिं अति हरषु हियँ देखि देखि दोउ भ्रात ॥ २२४ ॥
saba sisu ehi misa premabasa parasi manohara gāta |tana pulakahiṃ ati haraṣu hiyam̐ dekhi dekhi dou bhrāta ||

इसी बहाने सब बच्चे प्रेमवश उनके मनोहर शरीर को छूते थे; दोनों भाइयों को देख-देखकर उनके शरीर पुलकित होते और हृदय में अत्यंत हर्ष होता था।
On this pretext all the children, overcome with love, touched their charming limbs; their bodies thrilled and their hearts were very glad as they looked and looked at the two brothers.
