नाम जपि जागहिं जोगी
The yogis repeat the name on the tongue and wake. Free of Brahmā's world of change, they taste the bliss of Brahman, which is beyond telling, free of ill and without name or form. Those who want to know the hidden way, know it by repeating the name. Seekers who repeat the name with love win the powers beginning with the power of the atom. The afflicted, deeply troubled, repeat the name and their troubles end. In the world there are four kinds of devotees of Rāma, all good, sinless and generous. For these four wise ones the name is the support, and the one with knowledge is dearest. In all four ages and four Vedas the power of the name is seen; in this age it is the only way. The dohā says that those who are free of desire and soaked in the taste of Rāma's devotion have made their minds fish in the lake of the nectar of loving the name.योगी जीभ से नाम जपकर जागते हैं। ब्रह्मा के प्रपंच से अलग होकर वे ब्रह्म के अनुपम सुख का अनुभव करते हैं, जो अकथनीय, रोगरहित और नाम-रूप से परे है। जो गूढ़ गति जानना चाहते हैं, वे भी नाम जपकर उसे जानते हैं। साधक लौ लगाकर नाम जपते हैं और अणिमा आदि सिद्धियाँ पाकर सिद्ध होते हैं। भारी दुख से घिरे लोग नाम जपते हैं तो उनके बुरे संकट मिट जाते हैं और वे सुखी होते हैं। जगत् में राम के भक्त चार प्रकार के हैं, चारों पुण्यात्मा, पापरहित और उदार। उन चारों चतुर भक्तों के लिए नाम ही आधार है, और ज्ञानी प्रभु को विशेष प्रिय है। चारों युगों और चारों वेदों में नाम का प्रभाव है; कलियुग में तो इसके सिवा कोई उपाय नहीं। दोहे में कहा गया है कि जो सब कामनाओं से रहित हैं और राम की भक्ति के रस में डूबे हैं, उन्होंने नाम के सुप्रेम रूपी अमृत के सरोवर में अपने मन को मछली बना दिया है।

२2जाना चहहिं गूढ़ गति जेऊ। नाम जीहँ जपि जानहिं तेऊ ॥साधक नाम जपहिं लय लाएँ। होहिं सिद्ध अनिमादिक पाएँ ॥

जो गूढ़ गति जानना चाहते हैं, वे भी जीभ से नाम जपकर उसे जान लेते हैं। साधक मन लगाकर नाम जपते हैं और अणिमा आदि सिद्धियाँ पाकर सिद्ध हो जाते हैं।
Those who wish to know the hidden way know it by repeating the name on the tongue. Seekers repeat the name with a fixed mind and become perfected, winning the powers that begin with the atom's.

बड़े दुख में पड़े लोग नाम जपते हैं तो उनके बुरे संकट मिट जाते हैं और वे सुखी होते हैं। जगत् में राम के भक्त चार प्रकार के हैं: चारों पुण्यात्मा, पापरहित और उदार हैं।
People in great pain repeat the name, and their troubles end and they become happy. In the world there are four kinds of Rāma's devotees: all four are good, without sin, and generous.

चार हैं: दुखी, जिज्ञासु, अर्थार्थी और ज्ञानी, जैसा गीता में गिनाया गया है।
The four are the one in distress, the seeker of knowledge, the seeker of wealth and the wise, as the Gītā counts them.

चारों चतुर भक्तों के लिए नाम ही आधार है, और ज्ञानी प्रभु को विशेष प्रिय है। चारों युगों और चारों वेदों में नाम का प्रभाव है; कलियुग में तो इसके सिवा कोई उपाय नहीं।
For all four wise ones the name is the support, and the man of knowledge is especially dear to the Lord. In all four ages and in the four Vedas the power of the name is known. In this dark age especially there is no other way.
