The king calls his queens and gives half of the sacred food to Kausalyā. He divides the other half in two and gives one part to Kaikeyī. Kausalyā and Kaikeyī then take the rest in hand and give it to Sumitrā, who is glad. All the queens conceive and are filled with joy. From the day Hari enters the womb, happiness and wealth spread over every world. The queens shine in the palace, mines of beauty, good character and radiance. इस प्रकार सब रानियाँ गर्भवती हुईं और हृदय में बड़े सुख से हर्षित हुईं। जिस दिन से हरि गर्भ में आए, सब लोकों में सुख और संपत्ति छा गई।
In this way all the queens became pregnant and were glad at heart with great joy. From the day Hari entered the womb, happiness and prosperity spread over all the worlds.

The conjunction, the moment, the planets, the weekday and the lunar day all became favourable. All that moves and all that is still was filled with joy, for Rāma's birth is the root of happiness.
