Bharadvāja, in time that same king, with his company, was born a demon. He had ten heads and twenty arms and was called Rāvaṇa, a mighty hero. The king's younger brother Arimardana became Kumbhakarṇa, a house of strength. The minister who was Dharmaruci became his half-brother and the youngest, the one known to the world as Vibhīṣaṇa, a devotee of Viṣṇu and a store of wisdom. The king's sons and servants became many dreadful demons, able to change shape, wicked, cruel, without discernment, without mercy, violent, sinful, a torment to the world beyond telling.
