When Hari drew away his illusion, there was no Ramā and no princess. Then the sage, very afraid, held Hari's feet: 'Save me, you who take away the pain of the humble. Let my curse be false.' The Lord of mercy answered, 'That was my wish.' The sage said, 'I said many harsh words; how will my sin be wiped out?' The Lord said, 'Go and repeat Śaṅkara's hundred names; your heart will find rest at once. No one is as dear to me as Śiva; do not forget this trust, even by mistake. The man on whom the destroyer of Tripura does not show mercy does not reach my devotion. Keep this in your heart and walk the earth. Now my illusion will not come near you.' After teaching the sage in many ways, the Lord vanished, and Nārada went to Satyaloka singing Rāma's praises.जब हरि ने अपनी माया दूर की, तब वहाँ न रमा थी, न वह राजकुमारी। तब मुनि ने अत्यन्त भयभीत होकर हरि के चरण पकड़ लिए और कहा, 'हे शरणागत की पीड़ा हरने वाले, मेरी रक्षा करो। हे कृपालु, मेरा श्राप झूठा हो जाए।' दीनदयाल ने कहा, 'यह मेरी ही इच्छा थी।' मुनि बोले, 'मैंने बहुत कुवचन कहे हैं; मेरे पाप कैसे मिटेंगे?' प्रभु ने कहा, 'जाकर शंकर के सौ नामों का जप करो; तुम्हारे हृदय को तुरंत विश्राम मिलेगा। मुझे शिव के समान कोई प्रिय नहीं; इस विश्वास को भूलकर भी मत छोड़ना। जिस पर पुरारी कृपा नहीं करते, वह मेरी भक्ति नहीं पाता। यह मन में रखकर पृथ्वी पर घूमो; अब माया तुम्हारे पास नहीं आएगी।' मुनि को अनेक प्रकार से समझाकर प्रभु अन्तर्धान हो गए और नारद राम के गुण गाते हुए सत्यलोक चले।
