राम से विमुखों की दशा
The ignorant, unlearned, blind and unfortunate, whose minds are covered with the moss of sense-pleasures; the greedy, the deceitful, the crooked, who have never seen an assembly of saints, speak words the Vedas do not accept, and see neither gain nor loss. A dirty, eyeless mirror, how can a wretch see the form of Rāma? Those who know neither the formless nor the form babble many invented words. Held under Hari's illusion, they wander the world, and nothing is out of place for them to say. The words of those mad with wind or possessed by ghosts, or drunk, are not spoken after thought; one should not give ear to those who have drunk the wine of great delusion. Thinking this in your own heart, give up doubt and worship the feet of Rāma. Listen, daughter of the mountain: my words are the sun to the darkness of confusion.जो अज्ञानी, अपढ़, अन्धे और अभागे हैं, जिनके मन पर विषयों की काई जमी है, जो लम्पट, कपटी और कुटिल हैं और जिन्होंने संतों की सभा नहीं देखी, वे वेद-विरुद्ध बातें कहते हैं। मैले दर्पण और नेत्रहीन दीन लोग राम का रूप कैसे देखें? जिनमें निर्गुण-सगुण का विवेक नहीं, वे अनेक कल्पित बातें बकते हैं और हरि की माया के वश भटकते हैं। वायु-रोगी, भूत-ग्रस्त और मतवालों की बात सोच-विचारकर नहीं होती; महामोह का मद पीने वालों की बात पर कान नहीं देना चाहिए। शिव कहते हैं कि यह विचारकर संदेह छोड़ो और राम के चरणों का भजन करो; उनकी बात भ्रम के अन्धकार के लिए सूर्य की किरण है।

वे वेद के विरुद्ध बातें कहते हैं, क्योंकि उन्हें लाभ-हानि नहीं सूझती। जो दर्पण मैला है और जो नेत्रहीन भी है, ऐसे दीन लोग राम का रूप कैसे देखें?

३3जिन्ह कें अगुन न सगुन बिबेका। जल्पहिं कल्पित बचन अनेका ॥हरिमाया बस जगत भ्रमाहीं। तिन्हहि कहत कछु अघटित नाहीं ॥

जिनमें निर्गुण और सगुण का विवेक नहीं, वे अनेक कल्पित बातें बकते हैं। वे हरि की माया के वश जगत् में भटकते हैं; उनके लिए कुछ कहना अनुचित नहीं।
Those who have no discernment between the formless and the form babble many made-up words. Under Hari's illusion they wander through the world, and there is nothing unfit for them to say.

४4बातुल भूत बिबस मतवारे। ते नहिं बोलहिं बचन बिचारे ॥जिन्ह कृत महामोह मद पाना। तिन् कर कहा करिअ नहिं काना ॥

वायु-रोगी, भूत से ग्रस्त और नशे में मतवाले लोग विचारकर वचन नहीं बोलते। जिन्होंने महामोह का मद पी लिया है, उनके कहे पर कान नहीं देना चाहिए।
The words of those seized by wind-sickness, possessed by ghosts, or drunk, are not spoken with thought. Do not listen to the speech of those who have drunk the wine of great delusion.

ऐसा अपने हृदय में विचारकर संदेह छोड़ दो और राम के चरणों का भजन करो। हे गिरिराजकुमारी, सुनो: मेरी बात भ्रम रूपी अन्धकार के लिए सूर्य की किरण है।
