Each person does at once the work the sage gave. The king worships brahmins, sages and gods for Rāma's good. The news of the coronation spreads and the drums of joy beat in Ayodhyā. Rāma and Sītā feel good omens in their bodies, lucky limbs twitching. They say lovingly to each other that these must mean Bharata is coming, since he has been away so long and they are anxious. For they think there is no one in the world as dear as Bharata, and this omen can mean nothing else. Rāma is always anxious about his brother, like a tortoise thinking of its eggs. At this hour the women's quarters hear the great news and rejoice, like the tide rising at the sight of the moon.
