सिंघासन प्रभु पादुका
Bharata instructs his ministers and good servants, and each takes his duty and goes. He calls his younger brother, advises him, and entrusts him with all service to the mothers. Calling the Brahmins, he asks them with folded hands, bowing according to age, to give their commands, high or low, good or bad, without reserve. He calls kin, townsfolk and subjects, settles their doubts and sets them at ease. Then with his brother he goes to the guru's house, bows and says, with folded hands, that if the guru commands he will stay under vows. The sage, thrilled with love, tells him that whatever he understands, says and does will be the essence of dharma in the world. Hearing the teaching and receiving blessings, they call the astrologers and fix a day, and seat the Lord's sandals on the throne, free of care.भरत ने मंत्रियों और अच्छे सेवकों को समझाया, और वे अपना-अपना काम और शिक्षा पाकर जुट गए। फिर छोटे भाई को बुलाकर शिक्षा दी और सब माताओं की सेवा उन्हें सौंपी। ब्राह्मणों को बुलाकर भरत ने हाथ जोड़े और आयु के अनुसार प्रणाम करके निहोरा किया कि ऊँचा-नीचा, भला-बुरा कोई भी काम हो, आज्ञा दें और संकोच न करें। उन्होंने परिजन, नगरवासी और प्रजा को बुलाया और समाधान करके उन्हें अच्छी तरह बसाया। फिर भाई सहित वे गुरु के घर गए और दण्डवत करके हाथ जोड़कर बोले कि यदि आज्ञा हो तो मैं नियम से रहूँ। मुनि ने शरीर से पुलकित होकर प्रेम से कहा कि तुम जो सोचोगे, कहोगे और करोगे, वही जगत में धर्म का सार होगा। शिक्षा सुनकर और बड़ा आशीर्वाद पाकर ज्योतिषियों को बुलाकर और दिन साधकर उन्होंने प्रभु की पादुकाओं को निश्चिन्त होकर सिंहासन पर बैठाया।

Calling the Brahmins, Bharata folded his hands and bowed, asking them in order of age: 'Whether the work is high or low, good or bad, give me your orders and do not hold back.'

'यदि आज्ञा हो तो मैं नियम से रहूँ।' मुनि ने शरीर से पुलकित होकर प्रेम से कहा, 'तुम जो समझोगे, कहोगे और करोगे, वही जगत में धर्म का सार होगा.'
'If you command, I will stay under vows.' The sage, thrilled with love, said, 'Whatever you think, say and do will be the essence of dharma in the world.'
