तात तात बिनु बात हमारी

Rāma tells Bharata to remember the ways of the sun's line: the father's truth and love of fame, the time and company, respect for elders, and the minds of the neutral, friends and foes. Bharata knows everyone's duty, his own and Rāma's, and that dharma is the highest good. Rāma trusts him fully, yet speaks as the moment requires. Without their father, he says, their affairs were held together only by the guru's house, or else the people, family and Rāma too would be ruined. If the sun sets out of time, who in the world is not troubled? Fate made such a calamity, and the sage and the lord of Mithilā have kept everything safe. The kingdom's work, honor, husband, dharma, earth, wealth and home will all be protected by the guru's power, and the result will be good. राम भरत से कहते हैं कि सूर्यकुल की रीति, पिता का सत्य और कीर्ति से प्रेम, समय और समाज, गुरुजनों की लाज और उदासीन, मित्र तथा शत्रु के मन की बात जान लो। तुम सबका कर्म जानते हो; अपना और मेरा परम हित धर्म है। मुझे सब प्रकार तुम्हारा भरोसा है, फिर भी अवसर के अनुसार कहता हूँ। भाई, पिता के बिना हमारी बात केवल गुरुकुल की कृपा से सँभली, नहीं तो प्रजा, परिजन और परिवार, हमारे सहित, सब बर्बाद होते। यदि सूर्य असमय अस्त हो जाए तो जगत में किसे कष्ट न हो? भाई, विधाता ने वैसा उत्पात किया; मुनि और मिथिलेश ने सब बचा लिया। राज का काम, सब लाज, पति, धर्म, धरती, धन और घर — गुरु का प्रभाव सबकी रक्षा करेगा और परिणाम भला होगा।
