The king of the gods, having made his bad plan, worries that everything now lies in Bharata's hands. Janaka goes to Raghunātha, who honors all. At the right moment, with the assembly and in a way that does not go against dharma, Vasiṣṭha, the Raghus' priest, tells of the talk between Janaka and Bharata and Bharata's lovely sayings. He says that whatever order Rāma gives Bharata will do, and this is his view. Raghunātha folds his hands and answers in true, simple, gentle words. With the guru and the lord of Mithilā present, his own speaking would be wholly improper. Their command he will bear on his head, and he swears it. Having made a bad plan, the king of gods worried: all work and non-work lay in Bharata's hands. Janaka went to Raghunātha's side, and the lamp of the sun's line honored them all.
