सानुज पठइअ मोहि बन
Bharata says that, seeing the love of his guru and master, his agitation and doubt are gone. He asks Rāma to do what will leave no distress in the Lord's mind for a servant. A servant who is shy of his master and wants his own good has a low mind. The servant's good lies in serving, giving up greed for comforts. Everyone's gain lies in Rāma's return, and doing his command is good in a million ways; this is the essence of both self-interest and the highest good. Bharata asks that the coronation things already gathered be made fruitful. Send him and Śatrughna to the forest and make all with a protector, or send back the two brothers and he will go along.भरत कहते हैं कि गुरु और स्वामी का स्नेह देखकर मेरा क्षोभ और मन का संदेह मिट गया। वे राम से माँगते हैं कि ऐसा कीजिए जिससे सेवक के हित में प्रभु के चित्त को कोई क्षोभ न हो। जो सेवक स्वामी से संकोच करके अपना हित चाहता है, उसकी बुद्धि नीच है। सेवक का हित सेवा में है, सब सुख का लोभ छोड़कर। सबका स्वार्थ राम के लौटने में है, और उनकी आज्ञा मानना करोड़ों तरह से भला है; यही स्वार्थ और परमार्थ दोनों का सार है। भरत कहते हैं कि राजतिलक का जो सामान जुटा है उसे सफल कीजिए। मुझे और शत्रुघ्न को वन भेज दीजिए और सबको सनाथ कीजिए, नहीं तो दोनों भाइयों को लौटा दीजिए और मैं साथ चलूँगा।
