They stay that day on the bank of the Yamunā; the time is right and all are comfortable. At night countless boats come from every ghat. At dawn everyone crosses in one trip, and Guha's service is welcomed. They bathe and bow to the river and go on, with Guha and the two brothers. Ahead go the sages in vehicles, then the royal company, and behind them the two brothers on foot in very plain dress. With servants, friends and the minister's son, they go remembering Lakṣmaṇa, Sītā and Raghunātha, bowing lovingly wherever Rāma stayed or rested.
