Chapter 186·Bharata puts the city in order·Verses 1–
In every house people prepare vehicles, glad at the journey at dawn. Bharata goes home and thinks: the city, horses, elephants, houses and treasury are all Raghupati's property. If he left without caring for it all, the end would not be good for him; it would be sin, the crown of sins, and he swears it by his Lord. A servant does good to his master even if anyone throws a crore of faults at him. Thinking so, he calls pure servants who never stirred from their dharma even in dream. He tells them the whole secret and the right duty, and places each as he is fit. Having made every arrangement and set guards, he goes to Rāma's mother. Knowing the mothers distressed, Bharata orders palanquins, litters and easy carriages to be made ready.
