Bharata goes on with his oath. He names those who sell the Veda and milk dharma, tell others' sins, who are deceitful, crooked, quarrelsome, angry, revilers of the Veda and enemies of the world. He names the greedy, lustful and glutinous, who covet other men's wealth and wives. He asks to receive their terrible fate if this was his counsel. He names those who do not love the company of saints and are turned from the path of the highest truth; those who do not worship Hari after getting a human body; those who do not love the good name of Hari and Hara. He names those who leave the way of the Vedas and walk a crooked path, cheats who put on false dress to deceive the world. He asks Śaṅkara to give him their fate if he knows of this secret. In the dohā, hearing Bharata's true and simple words, Kausalyā tells him that he is always dear to Rāma in word, mind and body.
