प्रान तें अधिक रामु प्रिय मोरें
Kaikeyī says: I gave you a kind lesson, and even in a dream I am not angry with you. That day will be a lucky one if your words prove true. The eldest is lord, the younger brothers serve: this is the good custom of the sun's line. If Rāma's anointing is true tomorrow, ask me for whatever you like. Kausalyā is like all my mothers to Rāma, and he is dear to me by his nature, and he is especially loving to me; I have seen it in trial. If fate grants me a birth again, let me be Rāma and Sītā's mother-in-law. Rāma is dearer to me than life. Why does his anointing trouble you? बड़ा भाई स्वामी और छोटे भाई सेवक: यह सूर्यकुल की सुहावनी रीति है। यदि राम का तिलक सचमुच कल हो, तो सखी, तू जो मन को भाए माँग ले।'
