Chapter 138·The whole world praises Citrakūṭa·Verses 1–
Elephants, lions, monkeys, boars and deer, who were enemies, now roam together free of hate. Seeing Rāma while hunting, the herds of deer are especially glad. All the forests in the world, and the Gaṅgā, Sarasvatī, Yamunā, Narmadā, Godāvarī and all the lakes, seas and rivers, praise the Mandākinī. The mountains of sunrise and sunset, Kailāsa, Mandara and Meru, and Himālaya and all the other hills, sing the glory of Citrakūṭa. The Vindhya is glad, that it gained so much honour without any labour. The gods say day and night that every bird, beast, creeper, tree and blade of grass there is blessed and a heap of merit.
