धन्य भूमि बन पंथ पहारा
The forest dwellers tell Rāma that the land, the woods, the road and the hills are blessed wherever he puts his feet, and so are the birds and animals that see him. They count themselves blessed too, with their families, because they have seen him. They say he chose a good place, because here every season is pleasant. They promise to serve him in every way: they will guard against elephants, lions, snakes and tigers, and will know every wild thicket, hill, cave and hollow, and will guide him step by step. They will arrange his hunting and show him the lakes and springs. They ask him not to hesitate to give orders. The closing dohā says that these words, which are beyond the Vedas and the minds of sages, are what the Lord of mercy listens to, as a father listens to the babbling of his child.वनवासी राम से कहते हैं कि जहाँ-जहाँ आपके चरण पड़े वह भूमि, वन, मार्ग और पहाड़ धन्य हैं, और वे पक्षी तथा वन के पशु भी, जिन्होंने आपको देखा। वे परिवार सहित अपने को धन्य मानते हैं कि उन्हें आपके दर्शन हुए। वे कहते हैं कि आपने अच्छा स्थान चुना है, क्योंकि यहाँ सब ऋतुएँ सुखदायी रहेंगी। वे हर तरह से सेवा का वचन देते हैं: हाथी, सिंह, साँप और बाघ से रक्षा करेंगे, और हर घने वन, पहाड़, गुफा और खोह में कदम-कदम पर राह दिखाएँगे। वे शिकार खिलवाएँगे और झरने-तालाब दिखाएँगे। वे कहते हैं कि आदेश देने में संकोच न करें। अन्तिम दोहा कहता है कि जो वचन वेदों और मुनियों के मन की पहुँच से परे प्रभु हैं, वे करुणा के सागर किरातों की बातें ऐसे सुनते हैं जैसे पिता बालक की तोतली बोली।

'धन्य हैं वह भूमि, वन, मार्ग और पहाड़, जहाँ-जहाँ हे नाथ, आपने चरण रखे। धन्य हैं वे पक्षी और वन के पशु, जिनका जन्म आपको देखकर सफल हो गया।
'Blessed are the land, the woods, the road and the hills where you have set your feet, Lord. Blessed are the birds and the beasts of the forest, whose lives bore fruit on seeing you.

हम हर तरह से आपकी सेवा करेंगे, हाथी, सिंह, साँप और बाघ से आपको बचाएँगे। जंगल के घने स्थान, पहाड़, गुफा और खोह, सब पर हम कदम-कदम पर आपके लिए नज़र रखेंगे।
We will serve you in every way, keeping off elephants, lions, snakes and tigers. Every wild thicket, hill, cave and hollow, Lord, we will watch for you at every step.

४4तहँ तहँ तुम्हहि अहेर खेलाउब। सर निरझर जलठाउँ देखाउब ॥हम सेवक परिवार समेता। नाथ न सकुचब आयसु देता ॥

जहाँ-तहाँ हम आपको शिकार खिलवाएँगे। तालाब, झरने और जल के स्थान दिखाएँगे। हम और हमारे परिवार आपके सेवक हैं; नाथ, आज्ञा देने में संकोच न कीजिए।'
We will arrange your hunting here and there. We will show you the lakes, the springs and the watering places. We and our families are your servants; Lord, do not hold back from giving orders.'
