Pomegranate planting to cleanse preta-dosh land before building
The speaker says the pomegranate tree is called the direct form of Bhagavati. On land with Preta Dosha or a similar tantric dosh, pomegranate is planted before building the house — nine or twenty-seven trees, as needed — and left for one year; they must take fully and bear a full crop of fruit. Then they are uprooted and planted elsewhere, but not all: of twenty-seven, nine stay and eighteen go. Then bhumi shodhan, then the land pujan, and only then is the house built (Preta Dosha Tree Remedy).
What should be done before the digging of the foundation begins?
