Parvativallabha Ashtakam — Nine verses to the blue-throated beloved of Pārvatī

A quick, drum-like hymn in the bhujaṅgaprayāta metre. The first verse is nothing but bows, namo, namaḥ, namaḥ; the next verses pile up the marks of Shiva: ash, elephant skin, the garland of heads, snakes, the Gaṅgā on his head, Parvati at his left, the moon on his forehead, and a home on Kailash. Each verse comes back to the same words: I worship the blue-throated one, the beloved of Pārvatī.
