If the pitr are very greatly dissatisfied, or if you have had your janma kundli and the like examined, in which various kinds of dosha connected with Pitru Dosha are present — in such a state, the prayog he is telling everyone today should be done.

Bhadrapada Purnima to Sarva Pitru Amavasya — sixteen days, or the Amavasya alone

So in this manner, if you do this work daily from the Purnima up to the Amavasya tithi, then this Pitru Beesa becomes siddh for the sake of the Pitr, the speaker says. The sankalp for it that you are to take is just this: that the pitr of my kula be satisfied, be at peace, that they obtain tripti and do my welfare. There is no adverse effect at all in this; no tiryak effect will be obtained by you from it. But this thing you are not to do at your place of worship. This alone is to be kept in special attention, because if the pitr are not already worshipped there, they will then not be able to come into that place. Afterwards, whenever you wish to do an anushthan or anything at all for the sake of the pitr, you may do that work while reciting this same Pitru Beesa, and in it, he says, a hundred per cent success will be obtained by you.

In this there is no adverse effect at all, the speaker says. No tiryak effect will be obtained by you in it. But this thing you are not to do at your place of worship. This alone is to be kept in special attention, because if the Pitr are not already worshipped there, then they will not be able to come into that place. So this work you should do.
