श्रितकमलाकुचमण्डल

Shrita Kamala Kucha Mandala — The auspicious song of the Gītagovinda

Jayadeva opens his poem with two songs of praise before he turns to Radha and Krishna in the spring forest. This is the second, the maṅgala-gīta: each line names one thing Hari is or has done, and each ends in the same cry. The refrain also hides the poet's own name, jaya-jayadeva.
