Devi Kshama Prarthana — Forgive what I did wrong, Mother
Verses 8, anuṣṭubh metre

A prayer for the end. After a pūjā, or after a reading of the Durga Saptashati, the worshipper says what is true: there are thousands of faults every day, the rite was without mantra and without devotion, something was left out or put in by mistake. He asks for one thing, that Durga take the offering as whole. The last verse asks that success come by her grace.

दासोऽयमिति मां मत्वा क्षमस्व परमेश्वरि ॥ १ ॥
