श्रीकृष्णाष्टकम्

Krishnashtakam — Eight verses to the joy of Vraja

Every verse ends the same way: namāmi, I bow. In between, Krishna is seen from close by: the peacock feather, the flute, the lifted hill, the curls, the glance from the corner of the eye. The short, even metre makes it easy to sing, and it is sung far more than it is read.
