Jagaddhatri Stotram — Eleven verses to the Goddess who holds up the world
Verses 11, anuṣṭubh metre

Jagaddhātrī is the Goddess as the one who holds the world up. Each verse is one breath of titles, sometimes in pairs that meet (the support and the supported, being and not-being, Time and what is above Time), and each closes on the same line, jagaddhātri namo 'stu te. She is also addressed as Durga and as the power in Shiva; the hymn names no author.

आधाररूपे चाधेये धृतिरूपे धुरन्धरे ।
ध्रुवे ध्रुवपदे धीरे जगद्धात्रि नमोऽस्तु ते ॥ १ ॥
