मुण्डकोपनिषत्
Muṇḍaka Upaniṣad
The Upaniṣad of the Atharvaveda in which the householder Śaunaka asks the sage Aṅgiras what it is that, once known, makes everything known. The answer divides knowledge into lower and higher, weighs ritual against the knowledge of the imperishable, and teaches the Self through images: the spider and its thread, the sparks from a fire, the bow of Om and the arrow of the self, the two birds on one tree, the rivers entering the sea. The Khaṇḍas खण्ड
The whole Muṇḍaka Upaniṣad in its three muṇḍakas of two khaṇḍas each, opening with its peace chant. दो-दो खण्डों वाले तीन मुण्डकों में सम्पूर्ण मुण्डकोपनिषद्, शान्तिपाठ सहित।
