Venkatesha Stotram — Eleven verses to the lord of the Veṅkaṭa hill
Verses 11, toṭaka (1–8), bhujaṅgaprayāta (9–10), anuṣṭubh (11) metre

The prayer opens with the dark blue body of the lord tinted red by the saffron of Lakshmi, and ends with a plain request: forgive me. In between, the singer admits his faults, praises the lord on the hill as the highest there is, and turns to Kṛṣṇa and Rāma as the same Lord.

English sense

On the Veṅkaṭa hill lives the generous-minded one who delights in giving people more than they wish for. The Vedas call him the supreme God, the beloved of Kamalā. I know of none higher than him.
