श्रीलक्ष्मीस्तोत्रम्

A very short hymn to Lakshmi. The first verse asks her to stay with the reciter as steadily as she stays with Kṛṣṇa. The second gives her twelve names, and the third says that whoever worships her and recites these names will find her steady in his house, together with his sons, his wife and the rest.

अथ लक्ष्मीस्तोत्रम्The hymn of Lakṣmī

Verse 1

१I

त्रैलोक्यपूजिते देवि कमले विष्णुवल्लभे ॥
यथा त्वमचला कृष्णे तथा भव मयि स्थिरा ॥ १ ॥

trailokyapūjite devi kamale viṣṇuvallabhe
yathā tvamacalā kṛṣṇe tathā bhava mayi sthirā

त्रैलोक्यपूजिते देविकमले विष्णुवल्लभेयथा त्वम् अचला कृष्णेतथा भव मयि स्थिरा
हिन्दी अर्थ

हे तीनों लोकों में पूजित देवी, हे विष्णु की प्रिया कमले, जैसे तुम कृष्ण के पास अचल रहती हो, वैसे ही मेरे पास भी स्थिर रहो।

English sense

O goddess worshipped in all three worlds, O Kamalā, beloved of Viṣṇu, just as you stay unmoving with Kṛṣṇa, so stay steady with me.

द्वादशैतानि नामानि लक्ष्मीं संपूज्य यः पठेत् ॥
स्थिरा लक्ष्मीर्भवेत्तस्य पुत्रदारादिभिः सह ॥ ३ ॥

dvādaśaitāni nāmāni lakṣmīṃ sampūjya yaḥ paṭhet
sthirā lakṣmīrbhavettasya putradārādibhiḥ saha

द्वादश एतानि नामानिलक्ष्मीं संपूज्य यः पठेत्स्थिरा लक्ष्मीः भवेत् तस्यपुत्रदारादिभिः सह
हिन्दी अर्थ

ये उनके बारह नाम हैं। जो लक्ष्मी का पूजन करके इनका पाठ करता है, उसके लिए लक्ष्मी अपने पुत्र-पत्नी आदि सहित स्थिर हो जाती हैं।

English sense

These are her twelve names. Whoever worships Lakṣmī and then recites them, for him Lakṣmī becomes steady, together with his sons, wife and the rest.
