चन्द्रमस्स्तोत्रम्

Chandra Stotram (Mantra Maharnava) — Five verses to the Moon

Five verses in praise of the Moon, the white, cool god of the night who rose from the ocean of milk and now rests on Śiva's head. The first verse is a picture of him and a prayer for blessings; the others are bows to his names and his work, from feeding the herbs with his rays to destroying the faults of those who meditate on him.
