fierce fangs, with many jewelled ornaments.\" Having so meditated, worshipped with mental offerings, set up the conch, done the seat-worship taught for Vi\u1e63\u1e47u, meditated again and done everything from the invocation to the five handfuls of flowers, one should begin the \u0101vara\u1e47a worship. It runs: on the filaments, in the corners beginning with the south-east, in the middle and in the directions one worships the six limbs with \"\u0101\u1e43, homage to the heart\" and so on. Then on the petals from the east one worships conch, discus, noose, goad, thunderbolt, mace, sword and shield, with the pra\u1e47ava before and nama\u1e25 after.
